A MESSAGE FROM FATHER DAVID
As we all know, last month the governor of Texas relaxed the restrictions placed upon all Texans in order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus With those changes, the bishop and his advisors may possibly suggest a few changes as well for the gatherings within the Church. While I know we are all So VERY ready to get back into the Church, if we are not at 100% participation with no social distancing between each other, as pastor I will make the decision to continue the Parking Lot Masses. For me, the issue is this: once the Church is filled to the allotted number of participants in the Church building, I cannot see myself refusing someone entrance and as a result, creating a feeling of rejection within that person and possibly preventing them from receiving Jesus in the Eucharist.
I hope you understand my position and will continue to pray for me
to make the wise decision for the good of all parishioners.
